In this 75-minute panel, Matilda Lartey (an artisan and community activist in Ghana) and Stacey Johnson (a sustainability expert based in the United States) discuss the problem of textile waste, their perspectives on how textile waste poses a hazard to public health and the environment, and the ways that individuals, communities, and policymakers can come together to advance solutions. The panel was organized by Make Fashion Clean (makefashionclean.org) and moderated by Dielle Lundberg, the Project Manager for the Aftermath Learning Lab.
